RoyalUp Stateroom Upgrade Program
Why am I being offered an upgrade into a sold out category?
The stateroom category you are bidding on may not be available today, but we keep your bid in the event a room becomes available, or there is a cancellation.
Can I choose the location or specific features of the RoyalUp℠ upgrade cabin? Am I bidding on current inventory or possible future inventory?
Your cabin location and attributes will depend on availability when ready to be assigned. RCI cannot guarantee a specific cabin location assignment within the upgraded category, so you may potentially be given a lower deck than you currently have. If you are upgraded into a category with a view, It is possible that your cabin’s view may be slightly obstructed.
When will I know if my RoyalUp℠ offer got accepted?
Your offer can be accepted anytime from the moment it is submitted up until 1 day prior to voyage departure.

What happens with the promotions I already have if I am upgraded through RoyalUp℠?
You get to keep the promotions you already have based on the stateroom category originally booked. However, no additional promotions will be added to your reservation. For example, if you booked a promotion that was for balconies, and you upgrade to a suite, you will still keep the same promotion that was for balconies. The promotion will not upgrade with your Royal Up upgrade.
How do RoyalUp℠ offers work if I am part of a group or traveling with another reservation?
Offers are reviewed individually, so it is likely you will be split if traveling next to another reservation. We cannot guarantee both cabins will be upgraded; should both cabins be upgraded, we cannot guarantee they will be close together or on the same deck.
Can I modify or cancel my RoyalUp℠ offer after I submit it?
You may modify or cancel your offer up until 2 days prior to departure, provided that your offer has not already been placed in “Pending” or “Accepted” status by RCI and provided your credit card has not been charged. Modifications or cancellations can be made here.

The terms and conditions of your original cruise booking will remain in effect following the acceptance of an Offer, including Crown & Anchor Terms and Conditions. The best way to earn points quickly is to purchase the upgraded cabin category in your original booking.

Yes, by upgrading to a higher stateroom category, each guest in the booking may be subject to a higher gratuity amount. The Offer Amount does not include the higher gratuity.
